So Edamame, being our resident ichthyologist, developed a deep desire to have a fish hat once he saw one on a friend's blog. Unfortunately for him, his mama can't knit, the good news is, Obaachan can! She made a pink one for him, and sent it over on Saturday(She has since made a blue one as well). "Buddy"(as Edamame now styles himself) has hardly let go of kingyo, the hat has a name and a gender...turns out it's a she, in the proceeding days.
He is definitely on a fish binge right now. He's been pouring over his fish encyclopedia for days. I'm tempted to get him an English one as well.
