a wee bit of catch up

We've been a busy bunch, I'm quite surprised how much progress I've made on Christmas gifts. I'll share some of Edamame's creations though.


This one is a creation that I discovered after unsuccessfully trying to put the baby down for a nap. I no longer leave a spare roll of TP within child reach.



Edamame had a burning desire to decorate for Halloween, so I used some old cheese cloth and we each drew a spider and glued it on. He even took the picture. Not bad for 3. Which incidentally is his favorite number right now.

Ok, I'm pooped, it was a restless night last night, but hopefully we're almost over our colds.

It took Ed until he was 2 to get this high. Ohh jeez.

note: He successfully made it to the top, crawled across and grabbed the phone that I'd be keeping out of his reach. Guess we'll be calling Russia someday soon.

When I was in college, mom would send packages for finals. She was always very conscious of stuff like that. When I got my first package(and it was a MASSIVE package) one of my suitemates said "Your mom loves you more than any mom has every loved a child." I said yes, and I still think so!

Thank you mom for always letting us know how much we are loved. I can't wait for Edamame to see the new books when he wakes up in the morning!

So I just relized the zombie part of my previous post got lost.

Over breakfast our conversation turned towards zombies, and Ed says
"ghost come from the water and zombies come from the ground."

Baby Money

Ok, so I've got a crazy question for you all.

Would you have a baby early than you had planned for extra money?

Here is the situation.

I was thinking that we'd try for baby #3 to be born from about July or Octoberish 2011(I'm a planner if you can't tell...thank goodness for FAM), but we just found out today that if I give birth to a baby between today and March 31st of 2011 we'd get an extra $400 from the government. So I ask you, should I try for the extra $400 or is my sanity worth much more than that?

Climber

So my mother reminded me that I had yet to make good on my promise of a movie of BK climbing the stairs. This was taken probably close to a month ago now. He just chugs along up the stairs now, no motivation, nothing. He LOVES it. Another monkey in the making.

I threw these together this morning and yesterday. Edamame is super
stoked to try trick or treating. Hope we remember to go on base for it.

I was woken up by the click of the shutter. We are a wild bunch aren't we?

Current stats

Baby is 8.88kg, 69cm long and a head circumfence of 45.5.

His weight gain has definitely slowed a lot since he learned to crawl.
Guess baby Lee will beat him.

We got to got to the beach for our five day weekend!! Woo hoo! Definitely have a beach bum in the making.

Christmas Present

I've started making stuff for Christmas. This year we're big into finger puppets. Edamame LOVES Potter Puppet Pals and the Mysterious Ticking noise. So I made him finger puppet versions.
