Just to let you know...
three weeks I've been home sucks even harder. Don't worry, I don't
need sympathy, just need to have continued meds(I love IV
antibiotics!), and to be able to stand without feeling the earth move
ever so slightly. I'd be happy with prayers though. So please be
understanding of sporadic posting. I'll have super sexy 007 post a
picture of Mahana.
Have a great weekend!

Found it!
As for how she got here, here goes. I was going to be induced on the 28th, so in order to avoid an induction(Pam said avoid it as much as possible), I took castor oil after church on the 26th. WOW, that stuff really clears you out, and it got my contractions started. They were still pretty weak, but coming close together, so we headed to the hospital. Things kept going, and then around midnight started slowing down, and slowing, and sloooooooowing, until I was down to 1 contraction an hour. We tried to go home, but since I needed to check in in a few hours anyway they made us stay until morning to talk to the Dr. She was super nice and said "Hey, why wait a day, let's just induce you this morning." I was tired, but didn't want to drag everything out either. 007 went home to check on the boys an grab some food while I ate at the hospital. He got back and they hooked me up to an IV an the monitor and started a slow drip of meds around 10. They kept upping the dose by 5ml/h every 15 minutes until it started working. Well they failed to mention that "starts working" means contractions 2-3 min apart. I started having regular contractions around 11, so after the third or fourth they started counting it as labor(time stamp 11:20). The contractions stayed at 4 min but kept getting stronger and stronger and waaay more painful. The nurse came to up the dosage one time, and I just groaned and asked her why? That's when I heard the magic 2-3 min rule. Well she came in again and I just about cried, so she said she'd skip it that time. Well a couple contractions later I felt some pushing. She checked me, and the baby had dropped, but I was still around 6cm. I had 2 or 3 more, and felt just the edge of a push, so had 007 ring the nurse call. Just in time too, because WHAM! The next one had a real push at the end, and then every 30 seconds I was pushing to get the baby out. They wheeled me to the delivery room, 007 carried the IV, and the nurse was keeping the baby's head in(I was not pleased at all, just let me push this dang baby out people!). By some miracle, and strong nurses, I was on the table, but the delivery nurse was taking her time putting on gloves and scrubs, until the nurse holding the baby politely yet firmly tells her the baby is here NOW! She rushes over, they clean out her nose, as I am trying my hardest not to push and probably hyperventilating, when FINALLY the rest of the munchkin comes out. It was just after 12:30. I'm so glad the nurses were awesome, but it felt like they took their dear sweet time at the time. At least they didn't make me walk with this one.
Recovery has been easier than with BK, but not quite as easy as with Ed, then again, I'm not 27 anymore either. She's an OK sleeper, and great eater. The boys both seem to like her, but are showing their stress with the situation too. Ed is being super emotional and BK is hitting everything. I've finally started telling him to hit things when I see him winding up to hit someone. A box, a pillow, a chair. It seems to be working a bit.
Happy New Years to everyone!
Baby!
Luna!!!
Yeah! I need some more time to get things organized, blah blah blah, but a prize will be headed your way in a few months.
And because everyone wants to see the baby!
